About Edward
Edward D. E. Rollins, III-Edward D. E. Rollins, III (Ellis) has been a lifelong member of the Cecil County Community. He grew up in the home of Edward D. E. Rollins Jr., a local attorney in the town of Elkton. His passion for the law and for helping those in this community began from tales of court room justice most often recounted by clients of his father and grandfather, who opened the law practice which is now known as the Rollins Law Group in 1927. Edward D.E. Rollins, III graduated from Elkton High School and immediately set his sites on following in his father’s footsteps when he attended and graduated from Western Maryland College with a degree in Criminal Justice. He then went on to Graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1980 and immediately joined his father as an attorney in Elkton. Though his father was appointed to the Circuit Court for Cecil County shortly thereafter, Ellis elected to remain in the realm of private practice and has seen his legacy flourish into what is now the Rollins Law Group. Ellis has now been in practice for over 28 years, but his passion for helping those in this community still remains as strong as it was when he heard the stories of his Papa and Dad and the tales of their court room justice. In 2007, Rollins Law Group, received the award for Best Law Firm in Cecil County, as voted on by the public.
