About Elizabeth
Liz Clack-Freeman is part of the Litigation Group at Andersen, Tate & Carr. Ms. Clack-Freeman has a business and commercial litigation practice focused primarily in the areas of employment law, intellectual property and contract disputes in both federal court and state courts. Ms. Clack-Freeman’s employment practice includes not only litigation matters, but also includes preventative counseling and the drafting and reviewing of employment related documents including employee handbooks, employment agreements, severance agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, confidentiality agreements and other documents related to employment practice and procedure. Before joining the firm, Ms. Clack-Freeman served as law clerk for the Honorable William C. O'Kelley of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Ms. Clack-Freeman received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law in 1998, where she was the First Honor Graduate and served as Managing Editor of the Baylor Law Review. Ms. Clack-Freeman's article, "Title VII and Plaintiff's Replacement: A Prima Facie Consideration?" appeared in the Spring 1998 Baylor Law Review (50 BAYLOR L. REV. 463). Ms. Clack-Freeman received her Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in 1995 from Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina, where she was named to the All-American Softball team in 1993 and was later named the NCAA’s Woman of the Year for the State of South Carolina in 1995.
Ms. Clack-Freeman was admitted to the practice of law in the state of Georgia in 1999 and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Federal Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association’s Labor & Employment section and the Gwinnett County Bar Association. Ms. Clack-Freeman is a Gwinnett County native. She and her husband Shawn, as well as their children Colby, Carter and Calan, currently reside in the Snellville/Grayson area and attend The First Baptist Church of Loganville.
