About Ellen
Ellen B. Rittgers, a former triathlete and devoted yogi, has been in private practice for more than 25 years. Ellen has been selected as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Miami University, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati Law School in 1979. Although Ellen has experience in many areas of the law, for the last 20 years she has limited her practice to family law, notably divorce, dissolution, child custody, and related matters. Ellen is a member of a number of bar associations and is on the Family Law Committee in Warren County. In 2007 she became President of the Warren County Bar Association. She is a trained collaborative attorney and is a member of the Southwest Ohio Collaborative Law Association. Ellen is also on the Board of Trustees for Clinton Memorial Hospital.
After nearly 30 years of divorce and custody work, Ellen Rittgers continues to receive referrals from clients whom she represented decades ago as well as from lawyers, locally and beyond.
