About Eric

As a member of the Casualty Department, Eric concentrates his practice in the areas of casualty, asbestos, and workers' compensation defense. He is licensed to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

In a precedent setting case, Eric presented a Motion to Dismiss based on whether the Maryland Automobile Fund is subject to personal jurisdiction in Delaware as a result of it being a governmental entity and not writing policies in Delaware. The court agreed with Eric, holding Delaware courts do not have personal jurisdiction over the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund.

Upon graduating from Central Michigan University in 1996, Eric was employed as an Exercise Physiologist in a physical therapy setting in Houston, Texas. In 2000, he enrolled in Widener University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and a Certificate in Health Law with Honors in 2003.

When not advocating for his clients, Eric is a member of the Northern Delaware Football Officials Association where he officiates high school football games in northern Delaware and northeastern Maryland. In addition, Eric was nominated and unanimously confirmed as Chairman of the Board of Elections for the town of Elsmere, Delaware.
