Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I made a big difference in a Personal Injury case when the insurance company decided that my injured, pedestrian client was as much or more at fault than their insured who hit my client. My client had been drinking beer, carrying beer and did not cross the road on Pedestrian cross way. They offered my client zero Dollars (0) and asked me to dismiss the law suit. I did not give up, as I knew my client was very injured and did not have the money or health insurance to pay for his medical bills. I deposed the "At fault driver" on the phone / Skype since he was in New York and would not make himself available in Atlanta. During the long deposition, I probed him enough and found out that, on the night of the accident, he was on a medication to help him withdraw from Heroin abuse and he was not supposed to be driving. We received the Policy limit right after the deposition.

All of the above plus, caring about each individual client and their case and treating them as if they are our most important client.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It is very important to have state wide knowledge and familiarity with case results, judges and laws. For example, I used to be a prosecutor before I became a Criminal defense attorney. My experience as a prosecutor and my familiarity with the judges and other prosecutor has helped me be very successful in my defense and negotiations.

I can usually ask them enough information to see if they have a case that I can assist them with and give them enough information about our law firm so they can decide if they want to meet in person and retain us.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
In order avoid wasting their time or ours, depending on what kind of case they have. I usually consult with them over the phone, long enough to qualify weather they are good potential client for us and we are the right firm for them before I make an appointment for them.

Majority of our clients come from word of mouth. Ex- clients usually come back for other issues to us and send their friends, family and others to us. Our successful track record has brought us many clients.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Truly helping a client at possibly the most difficult or vulnerable times of their lives makes being a lawyer very rewarding.

What are your other interests in addition to law?
Aside from my family and friends, helping others gives me a satisfaction and helps me sleep better.

Are you involved in your community?
Very much so. I am involved in our local Bar Association as the Past president of Sandy Springs Bar Association as well as Alumni Board member for John Marshal Law School and also the Chair person for a Professional Organization. I believe if you give back to your community, the community will be good to you and your practice as well.
