"Nearly two years ago, I gave birth to a happy, healthy, absolutely beautiful baby girl. When she was two days old, she went home to La Jolla with her adoptive family, whom I was matched with through the services of this Law Firm. The employees of this firm were so incredibly sweet and kind and caring, and Susan Romer was the most helpful of them all. It's a really hard decision to make, to place your child for adoption. It's painful, and you constantly question your choice, wondering whether it was the right one... Susan Romer did everything she could to help me along the way, despite the fact that she represented the adopting parents, and not me. She helped me write an adoption agreement that I could be comfortable with, and helped match me with a family whose values and morals I agreed with. She constantly checked in on me, to make sure that I was doing alright both emotionally and physically, and she always was happy to come forth with a hug when I really needed one. As a biological mom of an adopted child, it's really nice to know that my daughter is being raised by parents who love her, and are able to take care of her, and who are teaching her right from wrong. It's wonderful to have found a couple who shares my beliefs, and I'm so thankful to Susan for all of her help in finding a family who was a perfect fit. "My wife and I corresponded with Holly Wotherspoon about adoption of an infant. Holly was very judgmental of our families Ethics and we don't recommend her as an adoption Lawyer. There are many better firms to choose from and we suggest asking lots of questions to find someone whose compassion over steps their own biases."

"I found the most wonderful adoptive parents through Adams & Romer, Karin was so AWESOME! When i found out i was prego it was overwhelming due to the fact I already had 2 wonderful kids already, but my son has development delays due to a traumatic head injury. So after talking to Karin for almost an hour, explaining every single detail of my life, kids everything. We finally made the trip to Santa Rosa. We knew right away which parents we wanted. Karin wanted us to line up two interviews just to see who was best as this was the hardest decision i have ever made. There were a lot of great parents on there.
