Mr. Lara and his team are by far the best attorneys we’ve come into contact with. My husband was recently sentenced to 2 years for a 3rd DWI felony case. I wasn’t a client of Guillermo Lara but I was on one of his federal criminal jury trials. I was a juror and watched how his team just destroyed the government. Other jurors wondered why the prosecutor would bring this case to trial. The defense called out so many mistakes with this case and literally showed us how easy it is to be accused of a crime without proof. It made all of us appreciate our freedom. If I were ever accused of something I didn’t do, I would definitely hire this team to defend me. It’s like they know every move the prosecutor is going to make and they’re so smooth with how they challenge them. The prosecutor claimed the investigation went to a local gas station where the defendant was seen committing a crime. They said they couldn’t bring us photo or video. Guillermo’s team took pictures of all the cameras at the gas station and made them admit that it would have been easy to get this for us to see for ourselves. Again, this was a terrible investigation in a federal criminal case and we all voted not guilty for his client quickly. I would highly recommend this team.

I am here to tell you that Mr. Lara was truly a blessing. I have never been in any kind of trouble with law enforcement before, so I had no idea who to turn to when my worst nightmare happened earlier this year. It was ONLY from his reviews here on Google that I found his firm. That said, I thought I would try to help out the next guy by leaving a review. I was facing an indictment from a grand jury in Bexar County. When we couldn't find justice, Mr. Lara stepped in and took control of the situation. He prepared a grand jury packet and submitted it to the Bexar County District Attorney. A couple weeks later... Case Dismissed! I can't tell you the relief that came with that news. Please don't be naive and think it will all work itself out in the end. Call his offices and let him control the outcome. Best decision I ever made!

Mr. Lara and his team got my case dismissed in 2 months! He prepared a Grand Jury packet and presented it to the DA in Bexar county to avoid an indictment. Although is was a very stressful time, Mr. Lara made sure I knew everything that was going on. He was always on top of everything by going above and beyond what your average attorney would do. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney. I couldn't possibly recommend him and his office enough. The first time speaking with Mr. Lara over the phone and explaining that I have never been in a situation like this before and I was only in this situation now because of bad detective work, I'm sure he could probably hear how stress I was. He wanted to set up a time to meet at his office so I would be comfortable with him representing me. Because of my work schedule I could only meet him on Sunday after 5:00pm and his willingness to come into the office on a Sunday after 5:00pm and talk with me for over 2 hours showed me that he really cares about his clients.
