BEWARE of Aldous and Associates and Vasa gym. These guys are CROOKS! My son cancelled his account. We have the confirmation emails. Then a month later somehow a new account was opened in his name. He never got charged because the bank account number used on the fraudulent account wasn't even his bank number. HOWEVER, over a year later Vasa sent the account to collections. NEITHER Vasa nor the complete scam of a company Aldous and Associates can show us proof that he actually opened a new account BUT they are demanding over $400. I called and they were unhelpful and unprofessional. The rep on the phone literally hung up on me!

This is a debt collection company, they have put a negative mark in your credit rating that when and if you pay them it will more than likely not be removed for 7 years from date of posting. Do your research depending on your situation it may not pay to pay. Write a letter requesting proof of contract with signature and reply with a statement of fraud before you do anything like payoff. SAVE ALL YOUR RECEIPTS FOR VASA. This place is a scam. They just want money. How do I owe more than $200 when I paid all my accounts in full ?!?

Yeah, they're a collection agency. But, that doesn't give them the right to be A-Holes. I spoke to three different people and each of them was very abrupt and unprofessional -- flipint and rude. They use reporting to the credit bureaus as a way to intimidate you. Any kind of request for some sort of consideration for a reduction in the amount owed, due to hardship, has to be in writing and sent via U.S. Mail... Why? I tried to set up a payment plan using my American Express, because I don't have the available funds to allocate to this... They don't take American Express!!! I don't have a Visa or Mastercard and don't have the funds to pay via my Visa-Debit... I asked that they recognize the fact that I AM trying to pay this debt. and that it is their policy that makes it very difficult for me to work with them. I asked that they delay their reporting to the Credit Bureaus, so I can try to get the funds to pay it.
