I had the pleasure of working with Attorney Alice Meehan on a recent real estate transaction. Alice was professional, thorough, and always available to address any questions or concerns. She successfully resolved a complex transaction, earning my trust with her attention to detail and commitment. I recommend her services to anyone in need of reliable and knowledgeable legal assistance. Thank you, Alice, for your dedication and exceptional work!"
I have to retain additional counsel due to incorrect information provided by this lawyer. It has put my life and financial stability at risk. When seeking new counsel, I heard over and over again how many clients have come after having awful experiences with Ms. Meehan, and how damaging her apathy has been. I believe it says something when every other review has been deleted. Awful and incompetent, I was consistently put down for how little money I had in the creation of a trust. Frequent comments about how much it didn't matter to her, since it would be gone fast, but hundreds of thousands isn't fast if you make less than $12,000 a year. That kind of stability is everything! Never even tried to accommodate disability needs when they were communicated frequently, and my needs were still ignored. She bought to the judge a final document with some serious issues, the index numbers didn't line up with anything in the document and a section was missing completely, it felt really sloppy and I was embarrased for her. I had asked for an additional section, which she refused, saying it was too much work. I had to advocate for myself and ask the judge directly. He said it was not a problem and should have been considered already. He was surprised it hadn't been included in the final document. On top of that, she completely misrepresented me to the judge with wrong information that I had corected often in our communications. There is no excuse for that. When the judge asked her questions, I found I was more familiar with the document than her, and I had glanced at it briefly for only a few minutes before the hearing. The judge ordered a redraft based on these and his other concerns. She still refused to add that additional section that it was too much work, and I ended up having to draft it myself. I am so tired of having to do things that are not my job. Her next draft had three different fonts, incorrect numbers and other issues including the wrong years and ages?!?! It was submitted and I haven't seen if that finalized admission contained more issues. Overall very unprofessional, I would highly recommend retaining other counsel that takes your concerns seriously and is responsive to those concerns. Especially if it could end up like me where I stand to lose everything and have to spend more time and money to retain additional counsel.
Great lawyer.
