Alison Hicks & Associates, Pllc

I was referred to Alison Hicks through Legal Shield. After paying her $3,750 for a retainer she refused to return one single phone call despite making several attempts by phone and email. She ended up negotiating with the apposing counsel in my case on a Rule 11 agreement to simply drop the hearing that I hired Alison to represent me in. After making a complaint with Legal Shield she took the time to respond to them and then she sent me bill almost 3 months later indicating that she used up all of my money she was supposed to hold on retainer. She made zero headway on my case and left me with no option to hire another attorney which has put my child at risk of being abducted outside of the country. After doing some further research online, I've found numerous complaints from other people who say she has done the same thing to. This attorney is totally unethical and frankly I think she should lose her license to practice law. Also just as a fair warning, ***DO NOT USE LEGAL SHIELD*** After making a complaint about their in-network attorney they said that they could not assist me in this matter because she is in-network with them. What a crooked company!

Alison hicks and her paralegal are snakes and will use your money and keep demanding more prolonging your case. She dropped my case would not speak to me regarding my case unless she received more money. Beware
