The process of obtaining Canadian Citizenship by Descent can be daunting. Allen & Hodgman did an excellent job for me throughout the application process. Their staff always responded promptly to email/telephone inquiries and my expectations were set properly in regard to the time it would take for my application to move through the process once submitted. They were exceedingly careful with the handling of birth certificates and other documents, making sure I got everything back in great shape. I would highly recommend their service.

I needed to obtain proof of Canadian citizenship for a new job I'm starting in Vancouver. I had a very difficult claim (second generation, parent wasn't born in Canada, but I qualified through some exceptions in the law). Bruce and his associates were amazing help. I have been trying to get my daughters their Canadian citizenship off and on for over 15 years. My sisters and father were all born in Canada, while I was born in the United States. I was told repeatedly that I couldn’t pass on my citizenship. But they could help me start the 5 year naturalization process, but my daughters WOULD have to move to Canada of course. When I started the journey , No dual citizenship and no other documents ,a long road . The road was made easy and accurate by this group ! Other family member also worked well with this group . Alan and hodgeman were very diligent and professional in how they handled my citizenship paperwork .
