I hired Amy as my attorney, and she was awesome! She has an incredible understanding of the law, and she represented me well. She was very upfront with the types of cases that she does or does not take, and I imagine most of these negative reviews are from people who are mad that she didn't take their case. She went to bat for me and helped my case reach a resolution that I was satisfied with. She was very fair to me throughout the whole process and honored my decisions. This woman was terribly rude and, as others have stated, said she doesn't have time for such a case. I was shocked, as her website portrays her to take civil rights and other misconduct seriously. I thought she would have empathy but she did not. I do not recommend this attorney, and I am sad to see other reviews stating the same situation. She refused to hear details thoroughly. This was not just a person having a bad day, either. Terrible. Stay far away, especially if you were just a victim of a crime (on top of everything else) and need someone to be empathetic to your situation. Attorneys being dishonest in their websites leads people to have to spend days on the phone calling around. She also could not refer me to anyone at all. Horrible experience. I would give zero stars if I could.
