Super crowded, loud, smelly and over-rated. There are lots of neon signs and advertisements but walking through once is plenty.
Megan Zobel has helped guide me through a contemptuous custody case. She's honest, empathetic, and genuine. She stood up for me and helped me stand up for myself. She knows what I'm dealing with, she cares, and is smart in the way she approaches matters. My kids mean everything to me. She wants the best for them too, I couldn't really ask for much else.
i’m confused. not a single attorney in this town will even return my calls or requests for help, all of them stating (“advertising”?) that they are going to be there for me and stand beside me and my rights. the ACLU doesn’t have any extra time replying to requests for help that they deem may not apply- Yet, i received a response that next day expressing concern and that in their opinion it was clear that i needed help/had a very good case etcetera etc. , then apologized for being unable to help as expected as a not for profit org. & this indeed a private matter. i will try to contact you one more time. i’m looking forward to hearing back. sincerely. thanks ????????
ACW law seemed like the right choice at first in my custody case between my two childrens mother and I. Seemed professional and I felt like I was heard at first..then as things progressed during the process, things changed quickly. I had to respond to multiple emails reviewing the same information I had already given and was charged for each email, phone call and meeting. I was made aware of that in the initial meeting and it was even stated that I needed to be aware of that because a lot of people are upset when they get their bills. After 2 weeks of absolutely no temporary parenting plan and my kids in complete limbo, it seemed my ex's attorney was calling all the shots and I was just being walked all over. It felt that the relationship between my attorney and my ex's attorney was more important than what my needs were. If you want someone in your corner fighting assertively, this might not be the firm for you.
Mrs. Burton has helped me in a time of need, a time where I had thought all was lost. I made a phone call on a whim and found her on my 2nd shot. Not knowing much about child custody her soft hearted approach put me at ease. She was very responsive throughout my case, she stayed on top of everything any new news was immediately relayed to me. She diligently worked on my case day and night even calling me after normal "banking hours". At times when I thought things weren't going my way a quick phone call set my heart at ease. Let me add ive never met Mrs. Burton formally in person as I'm out of state so I had no other choice but to trust her. She outdid herself operating on the grounds of "law" and not just common knowledge. I cant thank her enough and forever will keep her on speed dial for my future needs. My daughter will one day here about this hero in everyday clothing. Thanks ACW law you guys have a Rockstar on your team.
