Let's face it: no one really likes talking about attorneys. However, it is so crucial to have a great attorney in your corner. Brett has helped me both on a business level and on a family level. He is very candid with what needs to happen in any given scenario, and I trust him to get the job done. As a business owner and a husband, I am glad to have Appelman and Associates in my corner.

My experience with Appelman & Associates was excellent. They were able to meet with me right away, and explained the issues surrounding my case. They were happy work out a payment plant that worked for my budget, and were always available to discuss my case on the phone and by e-mail in a very timely and professional manner. My confidence in Appelman and Associates gave me the peace of mind I needed to sleep at night and go about my business without constantly worrying about my legal issues. When my final court date arrived, Appelman & Associates successfully negotiated an agreement with prosecutors which saved me the cost, aggravation and possible jail time associated with a trial. I do not hesitate to recommend Appelman and Associates to handle your case

It's a small lawfirm that seems to be run by two people. It was the first thing that popped up on google search which is why I picked it. That ended up being a horrible mistake. Basically, for the amount of money I paid was not worth the horrible service I received. 1. They made the situation seem worse than it was. I got a ticket and had to make an appearance at the traffic court. From the consultation, he made it seem like it was a serious matter and that he would would talk to the prosecutor for an hour to negotiate on a plea bargain. On the court date, he just spent less than two minutes with the prosecutor. There was no bargaining or negotiation. If I knew that there was no work involved, I would have not hired him and just paid that ticket. I spent more money on hiring him for doing nothing than paying for the ticket. 2. Messy. He called me several days before the court date so I can obtain a copy of my driving history. My case didn't even have to do anything with driving or cars. He later told me that he made a mistake and that I don't have to pay $20 for my driving record. If your have trouble keeping track of your clients, it's usually a sign that you're messy and unorganized. Skills you wouldn't want your lawyer to have. 3. Lateness. He arrived late on the court date. Called me to say he was held in traffic 5 minutes away. I waited in the courtroom for an hour. I didn't pay that much money to be worried and frantic for an hour. When he arrived, it seemed like he forgot to shave and had bloodshot eyes. 4. I specifically told him that I didn't want my parents to know. Don't send any letters. What an idiot lawyer, he sends a letter to my parents with all the details and now I'm in deep trouble. The reason why I hired him was because I didn't want my parents to know. Overall, I had a horrible experience. I feel like I was swindled out of my savings. For the amount I paid, which was a lot for me... I expected better service. I didn't expect him to make stupid mistakes to get me in trouble. I basically hired him so I won't get in trouble. I would recommend that you visit another law firm before coming here.
