I am deeply grateful for all the legal support that was provided by the Asian Law Caucus of San Francisco for my father - Jack M. Fong to help him obtain Green Card Status in 2009. Our case was a bit complicated but staff attorney (now SF Immigration Court Judge) the Honorable Joren Lyons guided us through a detailed vetting process with the district representative of Department of Home Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Amazing staff and top notch legal team. *****10 STARS******
I went for legal advice on 2/19/2019.My queue is #13. Once I sat down and laid down my papers, the young man already said he and the ALC couldn't take the case cause they were short handed. I asked the young man how he would do if he handled my case, he said he has no comment but pulled out a printed paper with names of private attorneys to refer to me. We spoke less than a minute and that was it., poor service I would say.
I am not sure why the organisation is advertising as representing "Asian" but the assistant only get to people who have connections and the particular ethnic people. I requested assistant with one issue and they said "We only do immigration but nothing else". The same issue different person got help from them with two attorneys showed up. I was confused at first but when tried one more time after they changed their name, got worse!!! No reply, no respond at all! There best money making business is religion, non-profit (for others but for some) and charity after politics.
Great civil rights organization that's been around for a while doing tremendous work in the community. They provide free legal services on a variety of issues ranging from immigration, deportation, housing, etc. They're a fantastic community resource!
Just call them for disability Chinese right, the Cantonese old man screaming and yell not able to provided service and give me a phone number is already been disconnected. You help illegal Latino, but in the back their power are stronger than you Cantonese and their ethnic are laugh at those Cantonese!!
