Attorney Bruce Berkman

I will NEVER use this attorney again. I paid Bruce in 2021 to take care of a traffic violation. He rescheduled hearings for my ticket 17 times. When he was supposed to appear in court for me in 2024, he did not show up. I had no knowledge of any of this until I received a letter in the mail from Lake County courts that my license would be suspended for 3 years for a failure to appear and pay. I had no knowledge of this as I thought it was taken care of or if it wasn’t I would have received notice in the mail or a phone call. Once I received this letter in the mail I called the office non stop and I got NO answer for days. Finally when someone answers the phone after a week of calling everyday, they tell me they don’t know why that happened and would call me back. They never called me back. So again, I called them for days and days u til I got someone on the phone. Once I did again, his receptionist told me that a mistake was made and no one showed up to court for me. They were able to call the judge and get the suspension lifted but they were supposed to call me back with where to pay my ticket and how much. It’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them nor have they answered my phone calls. I 100% do not recommend using this attorney.

The best for traffic violations. I’ve been a client for 10yrs. The staff is always nice and helpful. Got my license back years ago with no problems.
