This organization is a travesty and perfect example of the misuse of taxpayer dollars.nnIf you ever find an orphaned animal, I implore you to NOT reach out to this high tech killing organization that is unwittingly funded by the citizens of the state of WA. They advocate inhumane killing methods of wild animals, such as drowning, as an acceptable solution to dealing with "nuisance" animals. WDWF euthanizes orphaned animals of all kinds and prohibits the public from intervening in hapless animals' well being or rescue, deeming them property of the state of WA. They would prefer see animals such as racoons dead.nnMake no mistake, WDWF is not an advocate for our wildlife. If you need help, look elsewhere such as PAWS in Lynnwood, Sarevt and other smaller, privatized wildlife rehabilitators.

Fishing and hunting here is sad. I go out of state where I guy still has a chance on public ground and can catch fish that aren't scarred up 9 inch planters. Also must be a lawyer to comprehend the regulations

The WDFW have too much power. Leave the raccoon Mae alone, give her back to the Greers and go and find some real law breakers, like poachers. She they people you work for, the people residing in Washington State that there's a heart somewhere in your office. Its obvious this raccoon poses no threat.
