Atty Mckellick and his paralegals have been extremely helpful to me about handling my mother's estate. There may be some good attorneys at Bacon Wilson that do what they say and what they put in writing, but from my experience Hyman Darling is not one of them. When my father was sick with cancer a family member recommended using Hyman Darling for his will and estate and that decision ended up costing me thousands of dollars, and if Hyman Darling had his way it would have costed me tens of thousands of dollars. In short Hyman Darling decided to ignore my father's will and drew up contracts to have things divided the way Hyman Darling believed that they should. Why, because when Hyman was used for a legal matter he never told me what I was legally responsible for when I asked what my duties and responsibilities were. When I did confront him he told me he could not be held responsible because he did not charge for services, but he did, and he was paid. After that I was unable to contact him, numerous phone calls and attempts went unresponsive, and things he said he would do that were in writing were never done. It must have been nice to live in a time when men stood by their word and held themselves accountable with a handshake.

Called with an urgent family emergency and have yet to get a response not to mention the person who I spoke with was very unpleasant and lacked any compassion for my situation. Call elsewhere if you’re in a time sensitive situation. Highly recommend not wasting your time with them
