First of all, if you are hiring a divorce attorney, you are having a bad day by default. That being said, the team at Balisle Family Law are a cohesive and caring team, that looks out for your emotional and financial well-being alike. Yes, hiring a top-notch lawyer may seem expensive, but it will be more expensive with a bargain-bin lawyer, I guarantee it. They respond to your calls and emails day and night, and will do everything possible to accommodate your schedule and needs. In the end, no one leaves the divorce court happy, but you will know that they protected you form "it could be so much worse" case scenario. I recommend a visit to Linda for a prenup instead, however, and will return for one if I decide to try the relationship thing again.

Do not hire this firm! Linda was largely unprepared, did not have the details of the case straight, rescheduled every hearing on account of personal affairs (her vacation), overcharged for time, and could not produce a clear strategy.

In my experience this is what I’ve seen. She will profit off an individual even when it’s clear she is dealing with a client with an illness & severe addiction. It’s understandable she is in business to make money. I hope that once L. Balisle has made enough money in this situation, she will help direct her client to get the help they need.

I can't say enough about Linda Balisle and her staff. I was always treated with respect during my very difficult divorce case. She and her staff worked diligently to ensure a positive outcome for me and my family. Everyone was very knowledgeable of current laws and statistics. Linda and Lindsay were always properly prepared when they came to court proceedings. They were always calm and polite to me. I was never made to feel like I asked a "stupid" question, and they were more than happy to fully explain everything that was going on. I highly recommend them in the unfortunate event that you may need a family law firm.
