The best Chinese food in Ballantyne! The best hot & sour soup and spring rolls! They are my rescue from hangovers days :)) Always consistent great quality food and ingredients! I highly recommend this place for price and quality!

The dumplings were delicious. The hibachi was a bit more expensive than what I’m used to, but the service was good and had the food prepared quickly.

Asian One is a very good Chinese spot in south Charlotte at Ardrey Kell and Johnson Rd. They have most of the usual Chinese- American fare and some unique Chef specials that are worth visiting such as Grand Marnier Shrimp with Honey Walnuts. Noteworthy appetizers include Shrimp Rolls, Soups, Chicken Wing (very Crispy) and fried wontons. They have several types of rice but their Fried rice is noteworthy while the standard white rice is forgettable. Their Fried Dumplings and Scallion Pancakes were not as good as I hoped. The Lo Mein and Egg Foo Young are above average, but no Moo Shu anything (oh how I miss it!). For their spicy dishes you can adjust spice up and down but if you don't ask otherwise it is generally fairly mild. Fast Service, Family Owned, Local and great quality. Its often my first choice for Chinese.

Messed up my meal by putting celery in it when I asked for no celery. Called just to let them know and they offered to come bring another one right away. Great service and the food is good. Thank you Asian One.

HORRIBLE. Made the mistake of ordering Chinese food from this place. Sat down to eat when I got home and there was a blue rubber band in my food. Totally UNACCEPTABLE. DISGUSTING. The “apology” was not sincere however I did take that disaster of a meal back and got a refund. NEVER AGAIN.
