Elizabeth Stacy Vencill Law Office

This old lady is the worst family law attorney New Mexico has ever had! She will take you for a ride. She will overcharge you so much money, and she didn’t even do a anything for you. She don’t even know how to work her computers in her own office. Speaking of her office it’s filled with all kinds of toys like a big play area and she is so rude to her clients. If you hire her to be your attorney, you will be embarrassed in court of how she acts and fights with the judge and the other party and totally humiliate you in court when she’s supposed to be on your side. Please spread the word of this attorney. She shouldn’t even be practicing anymore. She should’ve never became an attorney.

This has been one of the most worst experiences I’ve ever had with an attorney in my life. This attorney is so unprofessional. Please do not hire her to be your attorney. She will overcharge you. I went to her at the time to get a divorce and seeking child custody, . She was my attorney for a little over a year and charged me with a $32.000 bill. This attorney spends most of her time gossiping about the other party and the judge. She will tell you false information that is not true. She will try to make you fight more in court to try and make more money off of you. She will get mad at you for asking the same question twice and when you go to her office it’s filled with toys all over because she always has her grandkids there. Please don’t hire her to be your attorney you will be wasting your time and be given false information and you will be charged a tremendously amount of money.

Worst so called attorney ever. I went today to drop off a document that I had to hand deliver. She started to verbally and physically threaten me, while outside the front door, ,then had her husband come and say I was loitering and trespassing. This old lady with her office/play room that she lives in and works out off needs her license taken away.

While no one enjoys a grueling court case that wastes everyone’s time, energy and money; now that I think about it, I would be very interested for the opportunity to hear how she will answer under oath. Hearing how our child’s college savings of 66K was perverted into 85K plus 30K spousal support would be interesting under oath. NM is a community property state. When it comes to Child support I signed a parenting plan written by birth mother September 30th 2015 documenting her intent of 50/50 time sharing, yet Vencill continues to ask the judge that father pays child support on worksheet A. MSA is clear, Father avoided a 3-6 year custody battle by paying worksheet A till Summer 2017. There forward ONLY Worksheet B shall be used. Vencill continues to waste the court time with meritless motions. In my opinion Elizabeth Stacy Vencill should be disbarred per Rule 16 of the NM legal system. Thus far what I have seen or perceived is that: (Note: ALL interactions with Vencill will become very public.) - 5/11/18 Vencill argues father should pay child support for months when child has been living with father given substantiated abuse by mom. - Elizabeth unwilling to modify child support when Mom had NO day care expenses. Wasted Judges time and cost father over $9K for Mom to present facts. - Elizabeth is willing to state that child abuse was unsubstantiated when the Judge heard from CYFD testimony 3 minutes earlier, that child abuse is substantiated. - Files duplicative motions wasting family resources - Continues to misrepresents material facts seeking more money for her client - In court Elizabeth states “I don’t understand”. You are a professional, know your industry - Forgets relevant documentation and USB drive to modify said documents. Judge calls Elizabeth out stating this is unprofessional, Elizabeth agrees she is unprofessional. - Files incorrect documentation dividing assets, will cost parties more in legal fees for this oversight - Acts unreasonably in court, Deputies had to be called in by the judge. Will get into arguments and pick fights with opposing lawyer for no apparent reason. - Elizabeth claimed opposing party acts violently “stomping feet”, opposing party was thankful deputies stepped in for fear of being attacked physically by Elizabeth. -5/2/2018 "See email from Elizabeth claiming harassment for contacting ex updating mother on counseling and orthodontic care of child" In my honest opinion and I fully feel I am not alone, I feel Elizabeth should not be allowed to practice law in any capacity. Note this is an ongoing battle after parties amicably separated on October 20th 2015. Legal fees have exceeded $60K just for the father to defend himself. In father’s eyes, mother has perverted the legal system as a weapon simply to inflict damage. Mother and her lawyers have acted unreasonably at every turn including events where father was instructed that “you must buy your freedom.” I was told I must buy my freedom from a hostile relationship. Is this not slavery?
