FIVE STARS from someone who went through divorce as a child, with B&B on my Father's side. Divorce is NEVER (right?!?) easy, especially on the people involved, whether it be the couple, or any kids/fur babies/loved ones. So this review is for my Father (who cannot write a review anymore) who chose Baskin & Baskin most carefully as he had to make the HARDEST decision to divorce his wife, my Mother. I understand many people might want to write poor reviews as again, Divorce is HARD, and difficult, but I personally believe from personal experience that B&B is one of the best firms and that Carol is brilliant, kind, experienced, and respectful as both an Attorney and Human. Of course I don't know all the details, but I do know that Carol and her Team represented my Father in the best way they could. They were tough on the opposing side, but also fair, which as I can attest to, as I bore witness that my Mother didn't suffer hardship with the outcome. It's truly hard to "support" both sides of a divorce, but this review is for B&B, and I again assert and say unequivocally, that B&B, Carol especially, did a most professional, kind, respectful, and personable job of maintaining the humanity and dignity of both parties. If I ever need a Divorce Attorney (I hope not!), then I would choose Carol or her Team at B&B, without hesitation.

I would give her a 0 if it was there. I used her to divorce my husband of over 20 years. I wanted to file for abuse due to my husband being a covert narcissist. She took my money and then threatened me that I would settle or she would charge me another 10k. This was my husbands 3rd divorce and I had no idea of what a narcissist was at the time. He tried to cheat me out of everything in the settlement and I went to the settlement table with 4 attorneys against me. I loved my husband, but I have one hard rule… If you don’t love me I’m done and after 4 years of him ignoring me and running around on me I was done. He was never mean to anyone but me and never in front of anyone. My family and my father were not that type of person. Don’t use her she cannot be trusted and a simple divorce cost me way over 10k. She really should lose her license she’s not fit to be anywhere near a court room and obviously does not love the law or practice it for the good of her clients.

Horrible experience. Charged me on two separate occasions for requesting her office fix multiple misspellings they made. Refused to return unused retainer despite admitting I never signed a contract with her firm. State Bar said its a fee dispute, go to fee arbitration. Fee arbitration would not get involved because it was slightly less than the $1000 minimum for arbitration. She knows the rules and remains unaccountable. BTW, there are several different sites, most giving her glowing reviews. This sites seems more accurate.

Do not use this woman, she served as 3rd part consultant in my custody case, when I disagreed with her opinion, she had me arrested by telling the court system I never paid her fees and I spent 8-10 hours in Cobb co jail. Her fees had been paid but she cost me 8–10 hours of my life. Don’t walk, run from her

Carol has been my divorce lawyer for the past 3 years and I couldn’t ask for a better one! She’s truly heaven sent! Very knowledgeable, PATIENT, professional, & proficient.
