Do not seek counsel from Kent Gauchay. This guy is overpriced, lazy, and as incompetent as anyone could possibly be. I thank God every day that he was not my trial lawyer, or I would have lost my kids due to his absolute failure as a professional. I am court ordered to use this so called expert in family law. He cannot comprehend even the smallest thing that you tell him. He loses half the information, or flat out doesn't use it to make even slightly educated decisions. He might get back to you weeks later regarding situations, but that only after you have left endless messages, and called enough that his office assistant and you are now best friends and on a first name basis. Kent will do one thing one day, and another the next, and another the next. There is no consistency. He actually charged me to make strict orders using the exact same orders that I had already had put in place weeks earlier. And then never stuck to the orders to begin with. I fired him once and he told me I didn't have the authority to do so. He gives attorneys a bad name, and has no business even practicing law. I'm surprised the firm he works for has not let him go to do save their reputation.
