Horrible law firm. I’m the president of our COA. We’re referred to them because of flooding and other problems due to hurricanes Helene and Milton. Dealing with insurance companies and city inspectors and criminal contractors was overwhelming. The attorney assured me a few times he would help. So we all decided to sign up. Once we did they did absolutely nothing to help. It took me multiple times to call them and email just to get a referral to a “good” public adjuster who never came through either. A month later this firm tried billing us $168 to read one email & a $50 storage fee of that email!!! WTF! All they ever do is send newsletters to sign up for their workshops. They have a low retainer so they can nickel and dime you on “storage” fees. As a business owner I have my own cloud storage and I would never pass this onto a client. They are trying to be a cloud service not an attorney. That’s just a part of doing business. It’s been months and they have never tried to help us with anything due to our hurricane situation even after multiple complaints. Worst experience ever with a law firm.

Brian Montague is the most unresponsive Lawyer I have ever dealt with. Our HOA paid him over $ 42,000 to represent us in a case against a previous homeowner. I have called twice and could not get a return call, and we had a closing on our condo in less than 5 days. All we needed was a statement verifying an insurance policy. DO NOT use this firm if you want to be represented by a responsive firm...

As a new HOA president, met with them yesterday. They helped our board so much to understand how to conduct everything legally and helped us understand how the HOA can make some changes to clarify our governing documents, which will benefit everyone in the community and the association moving forward. I highly recommend their services.

Would avoid working with this firm if at all possible. They are extremely slow to respond, completely disregard emails, and show a complete lack of empathy or understanding. If you are not consistently following up, you will be hard pressed to receive any type of response. If you do receive a response, it will be short and often times not even answer your questions. It consistently felt like we had to chase them down for the most simple requests. Go elsewhere if you have the option.

You call them, they send you to a voice mail, you leave a voice message, you are ignored for a day, then an admin calls you back, barely listens to your issue, then you are ignored for another couple of days, then you call back and finally an admin calls you back again and after hassling yourself with these people for several days the admin says we are very sorry but we don't want to speak with you about your issue. They clearly do not value their clients time if they are going to start a relationship with a series of voicemails and the intention of stringing you along until they decide if they even want to speak with you. Lots of attorneys in this town, I would move on to another office if you value your time!
