Inpatient intake and rejected me because of a ridiculous reason, then referred me to a dead number. nI called in to ask for an initial consultation and first lady transferred me to a second lady, and I couldn't tell their different voices and confused since I told first lady briefly, so the second lady said 'I don't even know your name'. Then she asked me what is the type of the case, I said I don't know but it is about sexual assault, I have many questions wanna consult since the attacker was my lawyer. Then she interrupted me by saying oh we don't take case like that. I said I thought Lawyer Peter could be a good fit for consulting after reading all the profiles in your website but she interrupted again 'no we don't take that kind of case, sorry. ' I asked why, she said we just don't take cases like against police department. Then I said I understand but he is an individual, just the occupation is a lawyer but she interrupted me again 'we just don't take that. ' Then she asked me if I wanted to write down a number which is a bar referring line sth, I called but it is a dead number. nnDuring the whole conversation she was rude, inpatient, cut me off all the time, wanted to hang up immediately, no empathy for victims(all the other lawyers/assistants I called gave me at least a 'sorry that happened' and supported me by listening and answering me legal questions even they cannot take my case). I can tell his famous firm is quite busy that needs two transfers to get an intake, but he could influence his staff a better listener and truly care about vulnerable victims if he is indeed as a great and caring lawyer as the profile says. Plus, I don't understand why this firm doesn't take cases against lawyers - justice in any occupation is justice, not only lawyers cannot be exception, but he/she should be even more guilty if he/she commit a crime.nnSo I would rate one star for now, and wish lawyers themselves are better humans with kindness.nnWish all the victims can find justice!
