We had married about the time we wanted to form our LLC and I wanted to be known under my new name. This made a little challenge - however, KKOS took it in stride - no problem! The next challenge was the self-directed 401(k). The majority of the challenge was the company that had the funds gave me misinformation. First was “you can’t do that.” Next day explained to a different rep - different response -however did not listen to me saying Rollover and sent me the wrong forms. Turned to KKOS who intervened on my behalf 3 times before the company completed the rollover. Without KKOS’ assistance, I do believe I would not have had a successful rollover of my funds into the self-directed 401(k)!
