As I reflect on my child custody case, I petition to take my child’s mother to court. And after reading the reviews, as I’m reflecting here almost 2 years later. I’m going to be honest…Betty is a kind woman. I saw a lot of moments where I could tell she was fighting for me. Betty’s a phenomenal person and I appreciate you. I thank you for allowing me to make arrangements when needed. You truly care about the people you’re helping and like you said your ultimate goal is to see a happy family and you achieved that with me and mine. Like Carmen she messed up my documents several times, overlooking very important information like my son’s name being on the order, marking wrong boxes. A lot like Carmen situation she didn’t fight, she allowed litigation abuse, she told me my ex was a narcissist just for her to not know how to fight against one in court. She’s very friendly and flirty with the opposing attorney which is shocking for a married Christian women. I will be back for a more detailed review but let’s just say my son is 1 we were in court for a year! What a joke I have to give it to my ex one thing I’ll admit he was right about is her being a blonde bimbo. Update * Betty was asked to review my documents and have them fixed considering she forgot to put my son’s name on any of the support documents. Documents weren’t correct 2 times the last time we were hoping it would be correct but she got my social wrong! I’m not sure if 13 years has drained her, or she is just a very all over the place attorney. So now my documents are still not correct and I am seeking new counsel. July 16,2024 update** Betty has not fixed the documents and she also screwed up my social on the documents…she never got the case transferred to vb she’s just way to old and burnt out she’s just an air head. I highly recommend male counsel especially if your ex is confrontational Betty is not the woman for non contestant court cases!

At the time that I hired Betty Russo, I didnt know much about the law but I still felt like she did not give it her all and folded against the opposing attorney and did not want to fight for my daughter and my rights. She did not argue with the other attorney, in fact she agreed with him constantly on issues that did not make sense. She also referenced GOD/religion whenever I tried to tell her that I did not agree with my ex demands or when I disagreed with what she wanted for my life. Later after hiring another experienced lawyer I realized that I was not represented properly by Betty Russo and my ex would have never got away with all of his demands if she would not have agreed to his lawyers demands. The paperwork was written improperly which made the judges angry. Very disappointed in how my custody case was handled and years later, I am still in a problematic custody case due to the initial agreement she made with opposing council.

Worst attorney . Lazy and lost my sister a chance to have assistance for her child due to her negligence . Can’t admit she messes up and gaslighted my sister after she was crying . Please if you are fighting custody or need a divorce , do not use this women. She has no clue or care about your case . She will literally give all your rights to the other party. Save your money and stress in the long run

Very detailed and family oriented. I have recommended Mrs. Russo too several others seeking professional representation. She has definitely been a blessing to me and my family.
