Me and my mom hired him in 2006 for a bankruptcy case and he did not communicate ANYTHING to us and then refunded our money after months of trying to get ahold of him and visiting his office. We ended up having to hire David Posse to help us, which thankfully we were saved. For him to be an attorney, you'd think he'd be aware that he could sued for being negligent and it surprises me that he behaved this way. I see there's another complaint about him recently which doesn't surprise me that much hasn't changed.

Inadequate communicator with not only clients, but staff and, occasionally, the court, as well. Takes a very long time to get anything done and work is sometimes missing important details. Block bills clients. Has been known to neglect to file things in a timely manner. Avoids clients’ questions about, or attempts to discuss, billing issues. Has gotten angry rather than constructive and corrective when confronted about repeatedly poor and/or inconsistent work. Insists on using an inefficient legal server who makes mistakes and may cost a client valuable time and expense. Was found to have active complaints on file with Oregon State Bar. May have decades of practice, but proved, overall, to be an overpriced, underperforming, frustrating option, in my opinion. If good communication, timeliness, attentiveness, and accuracy are important to you, I suggest you look elsewhere for better representation. In any case, it behooves a client to research their prospective attorney thoroughly and obtain references before retaining.
