Had a rather nasty custody dispute. I was in a tight bind good old Caleb was only interested in his retainer , milking billable hours, and giving the other side 100% of what she was demanding. Question? Why do I need an attorney to give the other side everything? Answer, you don't. Poor listening skills. Think twice before you hire this or any lawyer.

The best place for fathers rights ??????????????. Caleb helped me get 50/50 equal shared parenting time. As well as joint custody. This is a firm that shows they care by showing action, not just by talking. Very friendly staff whose always available. Caleb is the “BEST” hands down. From my experience. Caleb is very hungry when it comes to defending fathers rights and is distinguished when it comes to family law. You’ll be proud you hired him. And your kids will thank you for retaining him. My case was drawn out, complicated, and messy, but Caleb always made me feel like his only client and listened to all of my questions and concerns. He truly cares for his clients. Every email and phone call I made was always returned promptly by him or his assistants. He knows family law and will be honest with you about your case.

Came highly recommended. However mr bland was not able to represent me because of his current workload. However he did at least spend a few minutes on the phone to try and give me some helpful advice. I do appreciate that. I visited a different attorney earlier in the week and he wasn't interested in hearing about my case he just wanted to make it clear how much his retainer was. See Original post at bottom, which was written 4 years ago: Update 28 March 2023. Please know when I posted my original post, it was Mr Birdwhistell who served as my attorney, and not Caleb Bland. At the time of the original post, the law firm was called Bland & Birdwhistell Law, to which I gave 5 stars to Barry Birdwhistell. As for the current Bland Law, I give 3 stars …and that’s me being VERY gratuitous. For years after my original post, Caleb Bland represented my daughter in an uncontested divorce case. Unfortunately, she didn’t have the same experience I had with Barry. Much was not needed in this case at all, but she had to call several times just to get updates, and communication was mediocre, at best. That was NOT the experience I had with Barry…quite the opposite. Also, she felt very much like a number and not like a valued client. Again, not my experience. I was really sorry I recommended this law firm to her. I truly expected a lot more from this law firm, and it saddened me to hear of her experience. My hope is that others will have a much better experience than what my daughter had. Original post 2019: I am totally in awe of the professionalism and courteous service from the Law Office of Bland & Birdwhistell in Elizabethtown, KY. Barry Birdwhistell and Caleb Bland are incredible! Barry...you truly represented me WELL; thank you!!! I DEFINITELY would recommend this law office to anyone needing sound, expeditious, and professional representation. Not only do they possess a thorough knowledge of the law, but their caring demeanor leaves you feeling as though your case is just as important to them as it is to you. Barry and his secretary made me feel as though my case was not merely in the hands of “some hired attorney looking to make a quick buck at my expense.” But on the contrary, I felt as though my case was in the hands of trusted friends who happen to work at a law office.
