Spiriva Respimat. I’m a first time user of this product. After receiving my first application, I inserted the cartridge and could not turn the device to get spray. I called BI explained my. situation and after answering a thousand questions, was told to return defective product and BI would call my pharmacy to have it replaced. Well, lo and behold, the replacement, after inserting the cartridge, didn’t turn either. Once again I called and was told to return the inhaler and BI would investigate. I received a standard letter stating, after a thorough investigation, “with NO issues identified.” Spiriva Respimat cost me $500.00 - -yes $500.00 dollars - -for one months’ supply!!!!! BI has the defective inhalers and I have no evidence to report BI to the BBB except my written letter. I do not want a replacement I want my $500.00 reimbursed. I’m 76 years old and will not be taken advantage of by big pharma!!!!! Susan Epstein reference number 2046122

They provide a rebate for my pet medicines. However, a mystery MasterCard shows up in the mail with ZERO information that it is the rebate for the medicine. A cynical technique that ensures the card is unlikely to ever be used. The word rebate, Nexgard, pet, veterinarian never appears in the documentation they provide. They prescription fee is very high to begin with, and their rebate ploy is a rip off!

I have been using Spiriva HandiHaler for well over ten years. I have had several defective HandiHalers over the years and have lost many doses of my medicine. After about eight years, I finally went to the drugest and he put me on the phone with Boehringer Ingelheim. After a ridiculously long phone conversation and too many senseless questions (very time consuming) they agreed to send me a new box of medication. And more of my precious time was wasted going to the post office to return the defect. Well it happened again and I had lost another five doses ( going without my medicine). This time they only sent my drugest five doses, after I had spent another half of an hour on the phone with them of my time, with those questions. I have learned to keep my old HandiHalers that worked, just in case, I was sent another defect. I still lost my day's medication for my severe emphysema. AGAIN... the last two HandiHalers were defective and I lost MORE MEDICATION! I only hope for others that they do some research in their quality control, because you don't find out that it is defective, until you lost your dose of medication. But for me... I'm calling my doctor tomorrow for a different medication. Yes, now I have insurance but the pills I lost without insurance cost me $10.00 a pill every time. It's a shame for us because it is a great medication, IF YOU CAN GET IT IN YOU!
