I subscribe to the idea that we've all failed to live up to our own expectations from time to time. If that disqualifies him, then so be it. But you'll be overlooking a brilliant lawyer with a great deal of knowledge in many areas of law. Lawyers are a dime a dozen. But smart, skilled lawyers aren't as plentiful. He's that good.
