I did not have the same experience as everyone else, I’m out $3,000 That I paid (As an initial retainer)before I learned it was non refundable. While I was in the office, him and his staff were friendly( especially considering I had to bring my newborn and my 3 year old) Although, he was calling other clients and other attorneys , about other cases, while working on my documents. His assistant Julie, never returned my email( the next day or ever) when I decided I didn’t want to go through with it. A week after, I get a voicemail from Mr. Hirsch. That my paperwork is ready and they are filing it. I said, no don’t . I’ll file it, when I’m ready. Then a week after I get an email about them filing it again. I tell him to send me the paperwork and I’ll file it myself. ( I never received the paperwork he promised to send). I send an email a week later that was to him and Julie( stating I never received the documents) His email gets a return to sender and Julie never replied or sent the documents. I ended up going to the court house, paying the $40 for the paperwork and filling it out myself. (He never told me in my free consult that I could of taken care of this myself. I mean I’m not well off, it wasn’t tons of assets to split. It was very simple. Child support was very cut and dry on the documents. I didn’t technically need an attorney). So, I’m out of my $3,000 for something I had to take care of myself. As I stated, he seemed friendly. I unfortunately didn’t end with the results/treatment the 5 star rating people received.

Mr. Hirsch is thorough, patient, and very professional. He is very empathetic to you as a client. And he is very good in the court room. Very happy with him as my attorney.
