Seems to me the ONLY relevant review on here is Anna's and that was 5 years ago! And I'm bit saying it is good or bad it's just the only one that seems to be real!
Anna Caroline does a good job of saying it all. Only thing to add is that there is virtually no diversity and misogyny runs rampant.

They do have free food, gym and transporation shuttles going to NYC an local train stops. The pay is ok. Low level support staff are required to be nice to you get back to your inquiries and are forbidden from ignoring you. However this is where the good parts stop. Morale is super low in this place, because the "open criticism " culture has been translated into superiors chewing out their subbordinates mutiple times a day. Dalio's intentions might have been good, but now that the organization has balooned to the size and state of an institution, it is being run like the NSA heaquarters, where your every move is traked and videotaped and you are probed for your weaknesses multiple times day by "friendly" ex-KGB officers and amateur arm-chair psychologists with the intent of breaking your will and make you a compliant sheeple with no self-worth. That whole organization runs on expertly destroying people's self worth. After people leave there, they have to go to therapy to undo all the damage done to their psyche. Anecdotal evidence suggests that domestic violence by spouses who work there is also very high. Interview tips for the masochistic: BW has a company policy where candidates are encouraged to reach out for timely updates to their HR contact. And, most importantly, the HR contact is required to respond to the candidate in a timely fashion. Caveat, the Research department is a Black Hole run by an inept, disorganized HR person who has regressed to his current position by failing at every job he held prior ( Peter principle in reverse).Calls and emails to him from candidates go unanswered for days. Commitments are not followed though on, and he "forgets" to share relevant infotmation such as interview prep materials, the time of shuttle pick-up and expense reimbursement forms with candiates. If you want a job, there- be sure to be very open to the role they will assign to you based on a personality test. They think your peronality is a better predictor of your success on the job, rather than past performance. And you better score as an ENTJ, because Ray Dalio is one. During interview, they will discuss at lenght your weaknesses, will make you do a philosophic discussion where you have to show you value AynRand style Free Enterprise, and do a case study were you need to show systematic problem solving skills. But beware, when I interviewed there it took them 1 WHOLE MONTH to reimburse me for my travel expenses.
