Monte was extremely helpful after my car crash and got me the help I needed. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Unfortunately I would have to agree with the other poor ratings here. I usually don’t post ratings but I wouldn't recommend coming here for apartments or for the lawyer practice. I was young and inexperienced and didn’t understand contracts or what I was doing. I got stuck in a contract that took about $1500 to get out of for an apartment I never lived it. It’s a questionable contact to sign for housing and a questionable business. My lawyer read the contract after I had signed it and reviewed with me all the sneaky stuff that’s in there to rip you off so that I wouldn’t get ripped off in the future. I would have lost more money than that too if it weren’t for my lawyer. I don’t like saying bad things. I’m sure they are good people with unhealthy habits. Life is hard, however it still doesn’t excuse treating other people with manipulation. I just don’t want anyone else to get hurt. I do hope that they can change though and that they can have a thriving business that treats people right at some point, cuz you can’t ever really be completely happy hurting other people.

Warning, Monte is like a wolf in sheeps clothing. He is really nice and talks about kids on missions, etc but when it comes to money he will take advantage of you. It took him 4 years to settle my car accident case. I had to call him regularly to try and get him to get stuff done. We settled for $65K. He told me he would take 1/3 of the money I get in my pocket, instead he took more money then I got in my pocket. He said "well the insurance quit paying your bills at $6K so everything over 6K qualifies for the 1/3. He took $19,000 and I only got $9,000 because I had 37K in medical bills and car damage. He got more then twice the amount I got. He is nice, but not honest. I would go to one of the bigger law firms who don't need to take advantage of people to survive. I spoke to other law firms who've said they've never taken more money then their clients and said that's not right.

I’d have to agree with T M below. Monte rarely responds to emails or phone calls and doesn’t truly help. In it for himself.

I have dealt with Monte Burke in the past and he is extremely professional and is always looking out for his clients. 10/10!
