Each appointment, I came with bullet points to discuss and she informed me of my rights. I took detailed notes so that I could remember everything and recorded the meeting so I didn’t ask repeat questions. I chose to meditate with my ex personally which took about 3 months to come to an agreement. She was the second lawyer that I consulted with and I’m very glad that I didn’t listen to the first lawyers advice!
