Christine should be disbarred and I will try my best to make sure this happens. She is a compulsive liar. She stole $47,500 from me to complete a 510k. She did no work at all. Appointed a consultant who quit, she never informed us that he did. She billed me for meetings she never had with him. Zero communication and over-inflating billing hours by double. I have no 510k to this day. This woman is a liar, unethical and a thief. You should read her other complaints. They are all the same story. She will not keep her license after this one. I’ve been talking to the bar extensively. She even promised to pay us back $20,000 and never did. She is a white collar criminal.
Christine Humphrey over bills and does not communicate. She has several complaints against her with the Florida Bar. She billed us $47,500 for 510k clearance which is an insane over inflation of work that was never done. Absolutely nothing was done for our company. There was no guidance, no assistance at all. This person should not be practicing law as she violates her oath and code of ethics time and time again.
Does not comply with the honest and ethical billing practices described in Rule 1-5a: Fees of the American Bar Association, Center for Professional Responsibility. Specific examples include: Credit Card processing fraud (duplicates card processing from initial retainer to again on invoices against the retainer already charged--we paid 600.00 for what was suppose to be a 4% credit card fee on a 7500 retainer), ignores time limitations by client, paying 475.00 (attorney rate) for all jobs including downloading and filing documents, invoices hours prior to engagement period for discussing engagement, bills for reviewing files when no review took place as evidenced by her own admission and knowledge during a conference call, "pads time" on conference calls, duplication billing, (we were invoiced for "call" on two separate line items when one call only took place. Working now with FCC, ABA and Florida to make sure this does not happen again to anyone.
Good at finding ways to use all of the retainer money fast to give you just a tiny solution to the problem but quick to ask for more money to continue on. When I asked her for the summary of what I needed she sent me a whole book just listing references on a webpage difficult to understand. This was probably to make sure that I pay more money if I wanted to continue on.
One of the laziest lawyers I’ve ever dealt with they pushed off on me 3 times in a row. Didn’t fully explain anything at all and then when I asked a question after she saw she couldn’t answer she just hung up. Unbelievable worst experience
