Camille exceeded my expectations. I knew I needed a counselor with an assertive personality who would be zealous, because I wanted to be confident we would reach a fair outcome, not because I wanted to maximize my share of the settlement. That's exactly what I got, and I felt that she adopted her approach to align with my intentions. I wanted a very logical approach, and was pleased that she spoke my language. I was very satisfied with how responsive and available she was. Since I have almost no comparative knowledge, Regarding value, her method of billing was precisely described at the introductory meeting, and is accurate, thoroughly disclosed, and fair. When shopping for an attorney, a surprising number of my divorced friends said they wouldn't recommend their attorney, for various reasons. That won't be the case for me.

These people wanted 300 dollars an hour just to see if I even had a case....consultations should be free or severerly discounted...... Then a 7500 dollar retainer???......and this is all before you even know if this place is good for you or not......No. Find someone else.

I am a physician. I filled the petition for divorce myself together with a drafted decree. The OC created a decree which was unfair to me and did not match the decree which I drafted myself. I decided to seek legal counseling and came to Ms. Borg. I thought that the top priority was to negotiate a counter offer and reach to settlement. This was not the case. In 3 weeks the retainer of $5000 was consumed mainly in producing discovery documents, answers to interrogatories and inventory and appraisements. These were produced at the last minute. Ms. Borg did not pay attention to details of our discussions. She did not take notes and I had to answer to questions which were asked before and responded to. Of course I had to bear the cost for that. She did not read the decree produced by the OC or my drafted one. I had to point out details of things written in the decree which she was not aware of. I was charged for 4.50 hours, which were spent on the settlement offer or counter offer. However the settlement offer was incomplete at the time of termination of services with Ms. Borg, had some contradictories and did not reflect my actual discussed offer with Ms. Borg. She did not represent my best interest. More than once I had to defend myself with my own counselor. Though she was the one who decided to withdraw from the case over a disagreement of her insisting on me getting the house appraised and me refusing to do it because the OC thought the house price was way less than the market value, I agreed to her withdrawal and signed the motion without contesting it. I am glad that this happened so I could have a counselor who truly represent my best interests and give me sincere legal advises when needed. This short experience was a total disappointment. I would not recommend Ms. Borg to any one. I would encourage you to read negative reviews carefully because I did not pay so much attention to that.

Overall She did everything I needed, she got my child everything he needed, she kept me calm throughout the process (even when I was anything but calm), and charged a fair price for an attorney of her caliber.
