I purchase a vacant real estate property. I was contacted by Paul M. Ueoka that the law allowed me to change title on this property. There are a lot of details, so I will get to the point. For around 9 months Paul Ueoka tried to get me to change title on this property through redemption, basically taking 50 owners off a deed in favor of his two clients. I refused so he sued me . Paul is a top rated attorney with Carlsmith Ball, LLP and should know the law, but obviously he didn't or he ignored. It cost me a whopping , $20,000. to defend myself, this is rediculous ! I'm a Kupuna. I want my $20,000. back. The court decided, the parties must follow the law, plaintiff cannot achiece their goal of dual co-tency through redemption. I would assume the Plaintiffs also paid at least $20,000. I have made a complaint to the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, Honolulu. Please contact me if you believe that I have made any misstatements. These are my allegations.
i called and emailed paul ueoka's office for 4 days to get advice on the transfer on death deed he filed for me and got no reply or call backs. very poor service.
