Honestly shocked that someone who is supposed to be on your side could be so unprofessional and money hungry. I paid $3000, typical retainer fee. A year later and all I got out of it was going BACK to mediation (which ended up not changing a thing). No court date set, nothing. Then all of a sudden I find out I owe $1800 on top of what I already paid. Ok, fine. Lawyers can be expensive. But, I wasn't aware of the build up in bills because they were sending it to the wrong address (by their admission! With no phone call, e-mail, or letter to the correct address that I provided to them, that they "already had but didn't update in the system") Alright, fine. Frustrating but forgivable. I proposed that I could pay $500/month until it was paid off, and made a $500 payment within a week of finding out. Well apparently that wasn't good enough. They demanded another 3k retainer fee on top of the money I already owed, and refused to set a court date until everything was paid in full (Sorry but I make 34k a year as a law enforcement officer for the state, I don't have almost 5k to shell out upon demand) So a year of dealing with my ex, wasted. No valuable assistance was provided to me. Months went by with no update. Nothing in my case has changed. There was no proposed solution, only demands for more money. No kind words or apologies or pleasant interactions. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. This law group does not have your best interest in mind... only what they can do to get more money from you.
I only called to get an idea of how things work. I called and was told her next apt is 2 weeks out. The front desk lady Patty was extremely rude with me. She put me on hold abruptly, reluctantly gave her name and spelling and told me she would have someone call me back later as if me asking things was too much for a front desk person to handle. If this is how they treat perspective clients, how do they treat their confirmed clients? Very unfortunate as Im sure the services could be worth something, but customer service from moment 1 was terrible.

Very nice people have dealt with them since my husband passed away and had to renew my will that Patty had done some mistakes that should not have been done by a professional she likes to rush you also which is not good especially when you are doing a very important will!
We are only a little under half way through the process of adopting. But the staff here have been really kind and helpful to us.
