I am sharing this to warn others looking for an attorney. My longtime friend hired Chris, his retainer was $6000. He told him when he was hired all the things he would do to get these charges dropped. He has done nothing, never went through the discovery with him. Had him waive his preliminary hearing, received an offer from the DA at the second court appearance and suggested he take a plea. My fiend is almost 50 years old with no criminal history. Without going through the discovery with your client where do you get off suggesting a plea? Didn’t even find out what his understanding of the situation was nor took the time to return the 15 calls/messages that were left for him. Showed up to court 25 minutes late with no communication to his client. Chris Carson has received numerous complaints at the Wisconsin Bar Association. And his license was in jeopardy for multiple offenses. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!!
