Would give 0 stars, receptionist was very rude, do not give this law firm your business. Receptionist didn’t even give me a chance to give her my info. I took my case elsewhere where they actually care. Never will be a client and will never recommend.

My family recently joined consumer law group for immigration assistance with their parole/asylum process and I am very disappointed. We received no assistance at all. We filled out all the paper work they asked for and then they kept saying that they didn’t have the paper work, but when they would transfer us to someone else they would say that they did actually have the paper work. Regardless, they chose to stick with saying that they didn’t have the paper work we turned in. When we kept asking for assistance they would give us a date to work over the phone with them because apparently they can’t do in person consultations. However, when the time came they were unreachable or wouldn’t assist us at all. My family gave them $1,500 in total (maybe more I’m not sure) which is a lot for them considering they’re not able to work at that moment. They did not help us at all and when we asked to cancel the case they took so long to get back to us. We were not given any proof of any work being done and all they would say is that they could not get started until they receive the paper work needed (THEY ALREADY HAD IT). They recently received a TEXT MESSAGE, not a call, a TEXT MESSAGE stating the amount they were owed for their “work”, how much we paid, and they still said that they have to pay $750 for cancellation WHEN THEY DIDN’T DO ANYTHING. I’m not sure if you guys properly read the contract you sign from them and I’m not sure if my family did because I was unavailable when they filled everything out, but they charge for text messages they send (even if they’re reminder text messages). They charge for the phone calls (every 15 minutes). And they charge for other things that I do not remember at the moment but I feel should not be charged for when they did nothing to assist my family. Mind you they charge even if you don’t answer and they don’t actually speak with you. I can’t even say we can communicate with them and come to an agreement because they said their decision is non-negotiable. After reading the recent reviews that people have posted about them I’m surprised people still go to them and I hope you learn from these recent reviews that this company just cares about the money (based on our experience and the experiences I’ve read on here). Please learn from us and look at the reviews/any opinions about someone you plan to work with because you’ll end up making a mistake like we did.

I called about a detention case, I hired them to see if we could have a Motion to Appeal the decision that the judge had made, but when the lawyer called me they only charged me almost $200 to tell me that “THE JUDGE HAS ALREADY MADE A DECISION” What? I don’t know, just that I had to wait, and she didn’t tell me anything else! I spent the $200 just “to know” something “the judge has already made a decision”

I been struggling so much to speak to the person in charge of my simple divorce case, communication is terrible. The part that upsets me is that to initiate my case they were very communicative and fast to collect the initial payment. I paid it all already and 2 months later i have not received a single call returned after so many messages i have left. They keep giving me the run around and all i wanted was a quick and easy case to get over with, which they guaranteed it would take 3 months. Very disappointed
