Two stars for Mr. Hall only because he gets the job done. His interpersonal skills and ability to navigate the complex nature of family are nonexistent. Ethically it is his job to draft estate planning instruments that honor the client's wishes upon their death, but it is also his job to be intuitive and recognize that some may not be in a healthy state of mind when these plans are made. I arranged for my parents to meet with him at the 11th hour to get everything taken care of before my Father's terminal lung cancer took him. I in no way influenced my parents one way or another. I sat with them in the first meeting and told them this was their time to lay out their legacy. I didn't care if they gave everything to charity, drafted a generation-skipping trust, split it three ways amongst their offspring, or some combination. I did hope that if they said they wanted to leave everything to the dog or their not-so-trustworthy caregiver, he might persuade them otherwise. Now that everything is said and done, I regret taking my loved ones to him.

Brian is very intelligent and provides excellent advice and services. He does estate planning and I would refer anyone to him!
