John Cherundolo is one of the most well well known and experienced lawyers in all of the Northeastern United States. He is the Senior Partner of Cherundolo Law Firm, PLLC, a Syracuse based law firm that handles only the most severe and catastrophically injured individuals, and Wrongful Death.  The firm lives by the commitment of providing "...Excellence in the Practice of Law and the Protection of Individual Rights".
   Cherundolo was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and attended undergraduate school at Syracuse university.  He was an All East Football Player at Syracuse university and played in both the North South Shrine game and the Hula bowl.  He turned down a chance at playing professional football to attend law school at Syracuse Law, and graduated with high honors, as a member of the Order of the Coif.  He started practicing in Syracuse in 2974, and after two years of practice in Illinois focusing on Products Liability cases, came to Syracuse.  He has practiced for over 40 years, all the time representing injured individuals.  Over the years, he has had a multitude of verdicts that have won millions of dollars for his clients.  Below are some of the representative cases that he has handled over the years.'
     He has been elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a World Wide Association of trial Lawyers that only accepts the 500 best lawyers in America into membership.   Cherundolo has had many of the largest verdicts in Upstate New York, and has practiced extensively representing injured clients throughout the northeastern united States and beyond.  Cherundolo is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Syracuse university College of law where he teaches Advanced Torts and is involved in a variety of Trial Practice competitions and training.  He has represented thousands of personal injury plaintiffs over the 40 years of practice.  From 2006-2013, Cherundolo was an Acting Supreme Court Judge, having been appointed by the then Governor George Pataki.  As a Judge, he wrote several momentous decisions that created new law in New York State. He has been involved in Plaintiff's cases in such States as Florida, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia, California, Arizona, Illinois, New Jersey and a host of others.  In addition he is constantly writing, lecturing and teaching other lawyers in the profession on all subjects surrounding Trial Practice, and travels throughout the State lecturing every year on the new advances in the law.  Cherundolo Law Firm's practice is limited to representing individuals who have sustained catastrophic injuries, or who have suffered wrongful death through the negligence or wrongdoing of another party.  He is currently the President-Elect of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, a State-wide association of trial lawyers.  Cherundolo was one of the founding members of the Association, after serving as a President of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
   Cherundolo has handled thousands of personal injury cases, with specialties in catastrophic injury cases such as Paraplegia, traumatic Brain injury, Quadraplegia, Brain Damage, Cerebral Palsy, Severed Spinal Cord, Broken Backs, Amputations of arms, legs or feet, Spinal Cord injuries, Blindness, Severe and permanent Burns, and a host of other injuries.  He has specialized in cases involving scientific evidence, including Medical Malpractice, Product Liability, Automobile and Truck Cases, Cancer Cases, Mold and other Toxic Tort Cases, Mass Tort Cases, Drug and Medical Device Cases, and many other cases of a similar scientific nature.
   There are currently offices in Syracuse new York and New York City and the Firm is in the process of opening  offices in East Syracuse,New York. Watertown, New york, and Utica, New York.
