I came here a couple times while I was homeless in Miami earlier this year. They were very friendly and offered me food and a respite both times. The 2nd time Miami-Dade Homeless outreach was there and I ultimately was able to find housing. And I owe them an iphone charging cable - I took the one they lend to me.

Our MDGLCC is the best kept secret of South Florida. As an entrepreneur, I joined with open arms about 2 years ago. The professional and personal relationships I have made over the last 2 years have been amazing. I will say this and I feel it is very important to say in the toxic political environment we are in right now. Whether you are gay, straight, bi, transgender, non-binary, black, white, brown, latino... you get my point, It doesn't matter. This chamber has welcomed me with open arms and I can comfortably say this, has positively changed my life. Please check out the website and come to a function. Look or ask for me . Excellent place to have meetings like the one we had. It’s located in this gorgeous building in the middle of Miami Beach. You can park on the street or in the parking lot next to this building which is with right and the hourly rate is practically the same as parking on the streets.

As a lesbian entrepreneur I was looking for some support in getting my startup going (a lesbian co working space/ lesbian only coding academy). I visited the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and was greeted by Dana who couldn't of been more helpful. She helped me apply for SBA loans and apply for grants for Lesbian business owners. Thank you for helping me fulfill my dreams.
