I paid $100 for a consultation on tax planning with Mr. Jackson and was appalled at his lack of expertise on basic subject matter. I had very basic questions and he could not grasp even some of the most basic of tax concepts (e.g., S-Corp election is not the same as Sole Proprietorship; Pass-Through revenue comes in the form of salary and distributions for S-Corp elections, etc.). I paid $100 upfront for the consultation, which is very unusual for any competent attorney to charge. In speaking with a few attorneys that know their subject matter well, they were confident enough to forego charging consultative fees and said that Mr. Jackson’s practice of charging consultation fees is not industry norm. The consultation was to last up to an hour, but after a few minutes of listening to him, I had to cut him off and end the conversation as he was wasting my time and it was apparent that I knew more about tax planning than he did. He would not issue a refund when asked. He basically struck me as very incompetent, and he proposed that I pay him more money to consult with him further. If I felt confident that he would’ve yielded valuable insight I would’ve been happy to pay additional money, and delve further into subject matter, but he was not even able to elaborate at the most basic level of tax planning ideas and solutions. Exercise caution when considering engaging him and pay consultation fees. There are many other tax attorneys that will not charge consultation fees and are far more competent than Mr. Jackson.

Approximately two years ago I ran into an issue with the IRS. Mr. Coleman worked diligently to understand my situation and formulated the best approach to resolve my issue. Mr. Coleman implemented perfect follow-through and resolved my issue to a better than expected outcome. There is currently no other accountant I would consider using as Mr. Coleman executed perfectly at a reasonable cost.

Attorney Jackson was fantastic from the day I hired his services. He has great knowledge of the immigration law and what is needed for cases. Great client communicatio, he assisted in every step and communicated with me and my family on every step. Any assistance needed he was there for us. Never too busy for his clients. The services are very affordable too.
