Dr. McCarthy is pleasant and welcoming. As her patient, she makes me feel at ease with any concerns I may have, answering my questions and making sure I understand her viewpoint, while listening to mine.

Dr McCarthy is an amazing surgeon. She is caring, compassionate, and does amazing work. She is a perfectionist an artist, and a magician!! You would never know that I had a mastectomy. She made coming out of a tough situation worth it in the long run! Thank you Dr McCarthy!!! YOU ARE A GEM!

Dr McCarthy is a professional, compassionate and extremely thorough plastic surgeon and human. I can’t thank her, and the amazing team that supports her at MSK, enough for providing stellar care when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She confidentially and collaboratively oversaw my reconstruction treatment plan. Today, besides feeling grateful for being cancer free, I feel grateful for Dr McCarthy, who supported me through a difficult time and helped restore my strength, feminity and optimism.
