MLFA has a very poor rating on the better business bureau's website. Hope they can improve their organization to comply with basic requirements of a charity organization. Try donating to other organizations and if you need free legal aid, which is what MLFA mostly provides, you can search "free legal aid" or "pro bono services" in google.
