It’s a good thing they gave up and sold their company to another firm. They had no clue how to run things in our current industry especially Information Technology. Although most of the staff were great people. Their work ethics sucked and professionalism was minimal at best. Their HR and other directors loved to get into your personal business. Some the staff are still working with the new firm, if not most. I feel very sorry for the people that have to go through this when in a financial bind. I do say that most of their call center people are very good at what they do and know how. This is a Financial Recovery Service (Collections) used by banks to collect on loans and such. The new firm is Lloyd & McDaniel. I really hope they crack down on some people that work there and fire some of the directors. Definitely should hire a new HR, the one they had is stubborn and lives in the past. Her emotions get the best of her which is probably not good for a HR person. For those who have to deal with the new firm, I hope it’s a better experience although it’s already starting out bad if you have to.
Would give zero stars. This company is ridiculous. I understand they’re a debt collector, the communication is awful and they NEVER SEND RECEIPTS. I’ve asked time and time again for my transaction history for each payment and they sent me what looks like a typed up word document. They also want to charge me for a returned ach payment that was paid within the same month with debit, which ain’t happening. Beware of this company.
This company is horrible. Awhile back I received a letter concerning a debt; so I called them to make arrangements to pay this debt off. Then I later received an agreement letter in the mail. But I had a couple of family members who passed away which caused me to travel over 12 hours away on 2 occasions. I called to let them know if I could pay at a later date and explained to this horrible company about the deaths in my family and the traveling being a financial hardship on me. I was told I could pay at a later date. So when I was able to pay, I sent in a payment. I was about to send in another payment, but they garnished my checking account. My account is in the negative $4,000 +. I never received any letter nor certified mail stating their intents. They are horrible and I sincerely hope they get sued and stop doing this to people that are trying to do right and make their payments. What I want to say to this company, you will never truly prosper doing this to people. If you guys would have let me know in advance, I would have made some arrangements. You knew what you were doing. You take pleasure in being evil and I feel sorry for you all. I’m not worried because God is going to restore what you took from me and I’m at peace. You think you won, but sadly you didn’t. All the money you took from others, you will not prosper in that money.
I called regarding my debt, and John C Charles, or whatever her name is, was extremely rude. I was trying to call to advise them that I would have to change my payment method before the due date, and I would have gladly taken someone else instead of her but they kept sending me to her line. After not answering many times, and hanging up one time after I told her my name, I called again. I had to call to make my payment before the day was up (this was around 4:30 on a Friday and they are not opened on the weekends). I was told that if it was a day late, I would be in violation of my contract so that’s why I was stressing to get it made. Once I finally got a hold of her, she would not let me speak and told me that she was handling someone else on the phone then IMMEDIATELY hung the phone up. I didn’t need to be directed to her, but the operator took me to her line before I even got the chance to ask if I could get someone else to help with my payment instead of John C Charles since she told me she was helping someone else. This was the most unprofessional experience ever and I am reporting them because she TOLD me to make an ACH payment instead of a debit card payment, because the debit card payment takes days to come out. Which doesn’t make sense at all. Like others have said, they delay calls and paperwork and tell you false things to get you to fall default on your payments.
I have called several times and have had the call just end while waiting for someone to pickup. I just need to make my payment since they were bought out and my online account isn't working. The "press 1 to make a payment" option just keeps you in a waiting call loop. I've even left a voicemail. This is shameful!
