Excellent estate attorney. Knowledgeable, resourceful, warm office environment. He had great contacts for my excellent estate accountant. When my husband passed, I had out wills at a large expensive Seattle office where I never felt important. I transferred my will documents to Stephen after he handled my parents estate. With Stephen I felt that he knew our will specifics and was attentive to my situation at a difficult time (during early Covid 2020).

Mr. Stephen King practices guardianship,probate, estate planning and elder law. He is extremely knowledgeable about public benefit programs (SSI and Medicaid, just as examples) should a client have these types of questions. I can't express enough positive qualities about him. He is compassionate and knows the laws and how they are applied in daily life. He replies to email and phone calls rapidly. Steve doesn't make any question or concern seem trivial. There is no rushing you through. Additionally, he readily makes changes to documents that a client (me, in this case!) needs while making sure the requests are sound and well written. He will also gladly research something if he is not certain about an area. The suite he is in is warm, inviting, attractive and filled with charm and excellent taste. The other people in the suite are friendly and helpful too. These factors make being there pleasant and not intimidating at all. His paralegal, Joanne, has worked remotely since I have been a client and returns email quickly. She also makes setting appointment times convenient and hassle free. I have needed several lawyers for different types of matters (all non- criminal, so I can't speak about that group of professionals ) in my life and Mr. King has shown me what an excellent, caring and conscientious attorney is. I highly recommend him. He is superior.
