I am writing this almost a year after my experience getting representation from Carman law firm to close a purchase of a business. They are caring and helpful until they can convince you to give them your money, and that’s about it. Ms. Carman don’t actually care about checking up on her clients personally, only when she needs to give out her rates and tell you how many years of experience she has. Just quick to get the deposit/$ and delegate the work to the employees. Don’t expect them to check up on your situation afterward, I never heard from them once after I handed over the $. You heard right - My own representation never even followed up with me on how the deal went. I recommend finding another person that cares about their clients to represent you to close on a small business purchase. I have no hard feelings towards this law firm. This is just an honest review of my experience, so that they can realize years of experience isn’t everything.

Our business brokerage has (happily!) utilized Deborah's office for buyer / seller representation and closing services on business transactions for over a decade. She - and her team to be sure - know how to navigate through a deal and clear hurdles with landlords, lenders, title and sales contracts. These people are professionals and I have absolutely no reservations offering them to our buyers and sellers of Florida businesses.
